Quagliarella: after the nightmare, the rebirth

A life lived in the spotlight. A nightmare that permeated every angle of everyday life. Fabio Quagliarella has been a regular fixture on the pitches of Serie A for over ten years, but it was only recently that we discovered the heavy burden he has had to carry for so long.

The Sampdoria striker was the victim of a prolonged period of stalking, dogged by anonymous threats. Yet since the stalker was brought to justice, our No.27 has experienced a rebirth, reclaiming his title as Serie A’s highest scoring player still in activity and bagging 13 goals in his past 22 Serie A matches.
