Tactical drills at the Mugnaini

Sampdoria’s preparations for their opening league match of the season continued on Wednesday. They face Atalanta on Saturday at the Ferraris, with an 18:30 CEST kick-off.

After a technical meeting in the video room, Marco Giampaolo and his staff focused on getting the team ready for their test against Lombardy side at the weekend, centring the training session on tactical drills.

For individual players, there were no changes to report, as Andrea Conti and Simone Trimboli continue their respective recovery programmes.

On Thursday, the players will complete a morning training session.
