Video and tactics at “Mugnaini”, final training on Friday

Sampdoria continues its preparation for the next away match in Bari (Saturday, 16.15 CET) under Bogliasco’s sun. After a video-analysis session, Andrea Pirlo and his staff led a morning training session on the upper field of the “Mugnaini” focusing on activation, tactical drills, and training matches. Leonardo Benedetti, Nicola Murru, Estanis Pedrola, and Valerio Verre worked out with the group (the latter was only exempt from the final challenge).

Agenda. Andrea Conti, Cristiano Piccini, and Matteo Ricci continue their respective recovery paths. Sebastiano Esposito underwent clinical checks which revealed a muscular injury to the rectus femoris of the right thigh; it will be assessed in the coming days. Tomorrow morning, Friday, the final training is scheduled, followed by the coach’s press conference and departure by charter flight to Bari.
