Sampdoria Women prepping for season opener against Sassuolo

The countdown is on and Sampdoria Women are gearing up for their 2022/23 Serie A curtain-raiser away to Sassuolo on Sunday – a 20:30 CEST kick-off at the Stadio Ricci.

The girls resumed training in Bogliasco on Wednesday with Antonio Cincotta and his backroom team directing proceedings.

Lineth Cedeno, Aurora De Rita, Cecilia Prugna and Sabah Seghir remain unavailable as they continue with their respective recovery programmes.
